Rich Masino
Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development
Rich Masino brings over 30 years of experience in biotech, pharma, and medical device diagnostics to his role at CovarsaDx. As Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, Rich is responsible for driving growth and forging key partnerships across CovarsaDx and ZoaDx. His leadership and expertise span a broad range of medical device diagnostics, including infectious diseases, gastrointestinal, and women’s health.
Prior to joining CovarsaDx, Rich led the expansion of the Integrated Health Surveillance & Disease Diagnostics division at MRIGlobal, transforming it into a multimillion-dollar business unit. He has also held leadership roles at Molecular Devices, Affymetrix, Life Technologies (Thermo Fisher), and NextPharma, contributing to product development, sales, and strategic growth.
Rich is a member of the Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine and the American Society for Microbiology.
He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from San Jose State University.
