Accounting Associate
Kathy Chen has over 15 years of accounting and supervisory experience. As an Accounting and Data Management Associate she brings a wealth of experience working for companies in China and the Canadian provinces to CovarsaDx.
Prior to CovarsaDx, Kathy held several supervisory roles where she created accounting procedures, developed strategic plans for day-to-day financial operations, and negotiated favorable terms and pricing with vendors.
At CovarsaDx, Kathy’s principal responsibilities involve bookkeeping, processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures, preparing invoices and bank deposits, and responding to client billing inquiries. Kathy also applies her aptitude and attention to detail assisting with study data validation activities, data reconciliation, query generation, and query resolution.
Kathy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She also possesses industry certifications, including Sage 50, QuickBooks, Basic Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Federal Income Tax, and Level 1, LINC.
