Dorah Ortiz
Clinical Trial Associate, Site ID Specialist
Dorah Ortiz brings a comprehensive research background to her position as CovarsaDx’s Clinical Trial Associate. With previous experience in care coordination, Dorah is particularly skilled at reviewing medical records in support of thorough documentation. In her former role as a Case Manager, she oversaw patient medical record reviews, making recommendations on therapies and therapy alternatives to maximize medical outcomes. She has also implemented document organizational systems that increased project accuracy and productivity. Her unique background includes human and animal specimen handling and biological profiling.
In her role with CovarsaDx, Dorah works with site selection with attention to disease prevalence. She ensures all documentation is in place prior to study start and manages scheduling and coordination of meetings with study sponsors.
Dorah has a Bachelor of Arts Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master of Science Forensic Anthropology – Osteology from the University of Dundee Scotland, UK.
