Chermaen Lindberg brings more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry to her role as President and CEO of CovarsaDx. A seasoned leader, Chermaen combines a senior executive’s command of the strategic issues confronting companies with an intimate understanding of the day-to-day challenges facing them as they strive to accomplish clinical and marketing goals under budgetary constraints. During the height of the pandemic (2020-2022), Chermaen and her team managed 17 COVID-related studies, resulting in nine Emergency Use Authorizations. Since then, CovarsaDx’s clinical trials have tested thousands of subjects, bringing 18 COVID tests and 5 Influenza Combo tests to market.
A co-founder of L3 Healthcare Solutions, Chermaen headed the project to establish the L3 Clinical Trials division, designed to help improve the services, quality, and pace of clinical trials for sponsors under tight budgetary constraints, limited resources, and short timelines. She has collaborated with multiple clients to streamline and standardize processes to assist with positioning clinical, economic, and operational outcome studies, and collect and automate valuable health and economic market data.
Chermaen won a First Place DxMA award for marketing campaign creative development. She also received an award for launching and managing Biosite’s Triage BNP Hospital Media Development program. Chermaen is a certified clinical software designer for iMedNet and Medrio, electronic data capture platforms used in data management for clinical studies. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, San Marcos and is adept at finding and mentoring talented individuals from multidisciplinary backgrounds.
